This document contains the Privacy Policy of Pro Backup BV, a company whose registered office is at Kroonwinningstraat 113, 3500 Hasselt (Belgium). Pro Backup BV is the legal owner of the Pro Backup service, accessed via www.probackup.io. Pro Backup is responsible as the controller of your personal data as explained in this Privacy Policy.

The personal data we process subject to this Privacy Policy, relates to

Which personal data do we process?
Depending on your designation above, we process
- your contact and identification data, including your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, and company position,
- when we have business relationships with you as a natural person, we also process your billing information (VAT, billing address) as personal data, and
- technical data in connection with the use of our services and website.

- Customer management – to provide you with access to our services, manage payments and accounting, as well as other contractual obligations (such as account management), we process your contact and identification data and billing information.

However, if you are a staff member or representative of an organization or company, the processing of your data is based on our legitimate interest to do business.

For customer management, the processing is necessary for the execution of our contractual relationship with you.

With whom do we share your personal data?
In principle, we do not pass on your data to third parties other than when this is absolutely necessary for the purposes of the processing detailed above. In that case, we impose on those third parties the necessary obligations to process your personal data in compliance with the applicable data protection law.

How long do we keep your personal data?

As a general rule, we will delete or de-identify your personal data when it is no longer useful for its intended purpose. Please note that your personal data will never be deleted or de-identified if we have a legal or regulatory obligation or a court or administrative order preventing us from doing so.
When your personal data is processed on the basis of our agreement with you, your personal data will remain stored for the entire duration of the agreement and five years thereafter.
When your personal data is processed for marketing purposes, it will remain stored for the entire duration of our contractual relationship and two years thereafter, or until you unsubscribe from receiving our marketing communications.
How do we keep your data secure?
We attach great importance to the safety and security of your personal data. To that end, we take the necessary appropriate technical and organizational measures. These measures range from physical access policies and procedures to more technical actions on our computers and servers.
Do we transfer your personal data to third countries?
In principle, we do not pass on your data to third countries, i.e., countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Right to free data transfer: You have the right to obtain and / or transfer your personal data processed by us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form.
Right to withdraw consent: Insofar as the processing is based on your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent.
