Which plan should I choose?
Plus is best for small teams getting started with one or two SaaS apps. Pro adds Google Drive sync, global search, and proactive alerts - useful when your team is growing or you want a second copy of your backups outside ProBackup. Premium adds SSO, audit reports, and unlimited version history for compliance-driven organisations. All plans include unlimited apps and our core backup and restore features.
Do I need a license for each team member?
No, you only need one ProBackup license to back up your team's data.The pricing model is not based on the number of seats - instead you pay to back up your and the connected accounts.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.
What counts toward my storage limit?
Storage is calculated based on the encrypted size of your backed-up data, including all daily snapshots and version history. If you exceed your tier, you can upgrade to a higher storage tier without changing your plan level.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. No credit card required. You'll get full access to your selected plan's features. If you don't subscribe, your account is automatically paused at the end of the trial.
How does the restore work?
When you restore a project, a task, etc. ProBackup does not overwrite or change existing data in your cloud app. Instead a copy will be recreated from your data backup and added as an extra item to the parent entity (e.g. a task will be restored in its parent project).
How safe is my data?
The backups and the access tokens are secured with the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) using 256-bit encryption key. Applying the best practices of Encryption methods, we use a different initialisation vector for every record, meaning it is virtually impossible to extract the data via reversed engineering.
Can I share my account with other users?
Yes, you can invite team members to ProBackup. Each invited user needs to authorize ProBackup with his account. Invited users have access to all data that is backed up and can also export & restore data in the user interface.
