As we are about to take a short Christmas break, we wanted to take some time to reflect on 2022. In this blog post we’ll summarize some of the biggest updates that we’ve launched this year and we’ll also take a look at what’s planned for 2023.
15 new integrations
We knew that we had been rather busy this year, but we were surprised to see that we managed to add 15 new integrations in 2022! Thanks to the many customer requests we were driven to integrate with the most popular cloud apps such as Trello, Jira and Slack.
Sync to Google Drive
The sync to Google Drive was another big milestone this year. This update allowed our users to sync their backups to Google Sheets and store them in their own Google Drive. The biggest benefit of this is that the user is in full control of these Google Sheets and can set up an automated download to a local device. Leveraging the great flexibility of Google Sheets we dynamically update the existing sheets which offers a great user experience.

Besides this we did a lot more to further the user experience for our customers. Here are a couple of examples:
- Improved restore capabities such as board restore for monday.com and Trello
- Improved table view that offers more flexibility
- New Help center and support flow
- More advanced integrity checks in the back-end
- More notifications to notify our users about errors
- Improved user interface with more click-through options
What's planned for 2023?
2022 was a year full of successes and we aim to do even better in 2023. We are very ambitious and hope to launch the following updates in 2023:
- A complete new re-design of the user interface to enhance the snapshots and restore functionality
- Unified billing: Manage multiple integrations with one Pro Backup account
- Security: Set up an account using 2FA and SSO
- User management: Better controls to securely share your Pro Backup account with other team members
- New integrations such as Podio, Adobe & Teamwork.
